Frozen Pipe Troubleshooting

This homeowner called us out for an emergency. They had a pipe burst on their baseboard, and once they shut the water off, they called us and a HVAC technician. We arrived first, scanning the pipes all around the house, finding one spot where there was a significant but manageable frozen section of water in a pipe. It was not close to the burst pipe area, and according to the HVAC technician, this saved hours of billable charges for the client. Our costs pale in comparison.
